Help My Family Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

Hello, my name is Eulalee “Willie” Jenkins, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart. Many of you know me as “Willie” — I’ve cared for families here in the U.S. for many years, but my heart and my roots are in St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica.

A few days ago, Hurricane Melissa tore through my hometown and left behind unimaginable destruction. Every one of my family’s homes lost their roofs, and our livestock and crops — everything they depend on to live — were swept away or scattered. My loved ones are safe, thank God, but they are starting over with almost nothing.

I am raising funds to help rebuild their homes, buy food, clothing, and essential supplies, and restore the small farms and animals that support them. Every dollar will go directly toward purchasing materials and necessities locally in Jamaica, to get my family and neighbors back on their feet as quickly as possible.

If you know me, you know how much my family means to me — they are the reason I work hard every day. I would be so grateful for any help you can give, no matter the amount.
