My name is William Phillip Trickler, and I have spent over a decade working in landscaping, riding my bicycle and cart to jobs all over town. I have always taken pride in my work and my ability to provide for myself, but recently, my life changed in ways I never expected.
About four months ago, I started noticing that my job performance was slipping and walking became increasingly painful. I knew something was wrong, so I went to the doctor. After a series of blood tests and a bone marrow test, I was diagnosed with MDS cancer just a month ago. While this form of cancer is treatable, the road to recovery is longer than I had hoped, and it has made it impossible for me to keep up with the work I love and rely on.
The funds raised here will help me get to and from my medical appointments, pay hospital bills, and maintain the healthy diet I need to support my treatment. I am not asking for much, and I am not ashamed to reach out for help. I believe that asking brings the right people into our lives, and I trust that with your support, I can focus on healing and eventually get back to the work I love. I promise to give back and work even harder when I am well again. Thank you for any support you can offer.
