On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 8-year-old William's mother took him and his two sisters, aged 6 and 4, to the babysitter so that she could go to work.

Later in the afternoon, the babysitter allowed William and his two sisters to enter an apartment complex public pool without any adult supervision or consent from their parents!

William’s father, after finishing work, went to the babysitter’s apartment to pick up William and his two sisters for piano lessons and football practice. But to his life-changing, shocking surprise, he encountered another eight-year-old girl at the babysitter’s door screaming that William and one of his sisters had drowned in the apartment complex pool. William’s father followed the 8-year-old girl to the pool area and saw his two children receiving CPR from EMT personnel.

Thankfully, William’s sister was resuscitated by the EMT personnel, but William never responded and he was rushed to the UPMC hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for treatment. William was airlifted in a helicopter to Hershey Medical Center ICU the same day for further treatment. William is currently in a coma at the intensive care unit, fighting for his life.

The family is appealing to the general public and benevolent donors to help fund William’s medical bills, which are increasing every minute that he is kept on the life support ventilator. Any kind of monetary donations would greatly be appreciated and go a long way to help advance the treatment of William.

Finally, the family would like the general public to pray for William’s speedy recovery and restoration!

First the Family of William would like to thank everyone for there prayers and support for their family during this difficult time. Unfortunately yesterday October 10th 2024 William passed. At this time the Family is asking once again for help from their community and loved ones in order to provide a proper funeral and burial for William.
