We are Beverly & Danja Cunningham, and our brother-in-law, William Bryant, has passed away after a brutal unprovoked attack a couple months ago. He was recently assaulted with a deadly weapon and sustained injuries ultimately causing his death. This senseless act of violence shattered his life and left him fighting for every breath in the hospital with his loving wife by his side. He spent the last weeks of his life in Lynchburg General Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
His wife, Peggy Sue, is facing this nightmare of losing her husband too soon, and the financial pressure is overwhelming!
- He had no life insurance or plans for his funeral at 61 years of age.
- Sue is living off her small monthly social security check and stands to lose everything that she and her husband built up to live off of.
- The drive to and from the hospital (about 30 minutes each way) just added insult-to-injury with any money she had was drained visiting her beloved husband every day.
More about William Bryant
He provided low, competitive cost small engine repair through Bryants' Small Engine Repair for local residents of Concord and surrounding counties for nearly 30 years. Speediness was not his goal, QUALITY was!
William never met a stranger, but still somehow remained the soft-spoken man we know and love.
He was a great friend.
While his own mother was dying, he sat by her side and cared for her until she passed...
He and his wife have celebrated decades of simple, uncomplicated, and private life together. Please consider a donation to help Susan in her time of need!
If everyone only gave a few dollars, some of William's final expenses can be met. Please help donate to one of the good 'ol boys of Concord, Virginia!
Thank you in advance for anything you can do! Please share!
The funeral will be in the care of Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn, VA with a date to be set soon.
