Hi everyone, my name is Valarie, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my son, William, his wife Bailey, and their young son, Braylon.
This past Friday, their lives were turned upside down when William was involved in a severe accident with a semi-truck. Due to the extent of his injuries, he had to be life-flighted to Omaha, where he is currently receiving care at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
The Road Ahead
When we heard the news and saw the state of his truck, we feared the worst. However, we are incredibly relieved and grateful to share that, following scans and surgery, William’s prognosis is really good. He is a warrior, and is already awake and cracking jokes. But the reality is that his road to recovery will be a long one. William is expected to remain in the hospital for several weeks as he heals, and it will likely be several more weeks before he is able to start transitioning back to a normal life.
While we are relieved that William is going to be okay, the financial strain of an accident of this magnitude is a huge barrier to giving William, Baily, and Braylon the stability and they need to take care of each other during the difficult months ahead.
How Your Support Helps
We want William and Bailey to be able to focus entirely on his healing and on their little boy, Braylon, without the additional weight of financial stress. We are raising funds to help this young family navigate the difficult months ahead.
All contributions will go directly toward helping replace missed wages while William and Bailey while they are in Omaha, paying for lodging, food, and travel for Bailey so she can be by his side, and chipping away at any medical and life-flight expenses resulting from the accident.
If you are unable to donate at this time, we completely understand. You can still make a massive difference by sharing this page with your friends, family, and community networks. More than anything, we ask that you keep William, Bailey, Braylon, and their family in your thoughts and prayers
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your love, generosity, and support. We will post updates on William's progress here as we get them.
