Bill was a proud Marine and Merchant Marine, a Vietnam veteran who served his country with honor and grit. His service echoed the legacy of his father, a Navy captain who stood tall through World Wars I and II. Together, their commitment to duty and sacrifice shaped a family rooted in resilience and pride. Bill carried that strength into everything he did—whether tending to his cherished farm, raising his children with unwavering devotion, or delighting in the laughter of his grandchildren. He was a man of the land and of the heart, finding joy in the simple beauty of his farmstead and the bonds he nurtured with his family.

In Bill’s memory, we are reaching out for your help. We wish to honor his life by bringing him from California, where he passed, to his final resting place in Washington state, beside his father’s grave—a fitting tribute to their shared service and unbreakable bond. The costs of transporting his body, arranging his burial, and giving him the farewell he deserves have placed a heavy burden on our family during this time of grief.
