My name is William Ahrendt I'm 65 years old. I live in San Jose, Illinois. We had tornadoes and high straight line winds on the night of April 17th. A huge tree in my yard was uprooted and landed partially on my house and a couple of vehicles in my driveway and took out the electric line to the house. I have to have the tree removed to get Ameren to hook my power back up. Estimate for removal is 4000 dollars for removal and patch the shingles. I do not have that kind of money or credit to get it right now. Anyone that can donate would be greatly appreciated. My goal is just enough to cover the tree removal and patch the roof. If it turns out there is a little left over, I will donate it to someone else that has the same problem here or to a local charity. Please help if possible. I haven't ever done one of these Gofundme things before and I'm quite embarrassed to have to ask for help. I'm usually the one helping others.
