Justice for Angelina – A Tacoma Family Torn Apart

My name is Willard Palmer, and I was born and raised right here in Tacoma—just like my sister, Angelina Palmer.

Three years ago, on May 26, 2021, my sister was shot and killed in a 7-Eleven parking lot in Spanaway.
It was her 39th birthday.
She was an innocent bystander, doing nothing wrong—just caught in the crossfire of senseless violence.

She left behind nine children—the youngest was just a baby at the time.
That baby is now three years old. Her oldest is now an adult. And all of her children have had to face birthdays, holidays, and everyday life without their mother.

Now, after three long years, the trial for her murder is finally happening.

⚖️ Why I’m Here — And Why I Need Help

I’ve already been back in Tacoma for over a week, and I’ll be here through the entire trial—which may last several more weeks.
Tomorrow morning, I take the stand as the very first witness.

I came back because my sister no longer has a voice, and I refuse to let her memory fade into silence.

But being here has taken everything I have—financially, emotionally, and physically.

That’s why I’m asking for help.
Not for luxury. Not for comfort.
Just for the basic support I need to stay here, stand strong, and fight for justice.

What This Fundraiser Will Support

✅ $10,000 – Survival While Seeking Justice

This will help cover:
• Lodging for several weeks during trial
• Food and daily living expenses
• Transportation, gas, and parking
• Any unexpected costs related to being here during the trial

This amount helps me stay in Tacoma and testify without going broke or sleeping in my car. I’m here for justice—but it’s coming at a steep cost.

️ $30,000 – A Proper Headstone for My Sister

Right now, Angelina’s grave is marked only by a number: “721.”
No name. No date. No photo. Nothing to reflect who she truly was. Let me be very clear. No one should be just a number and right now. If you walked up to my sister‘s grave, that’s all that you will see is just a number. I know that there are hundreds of markers out there that are substantially cheaper than the one that I’m looking at, but she had nine children. I need to do this for her. I need to place a headstone on my sister‘s grave that gives her the dignity that shows the amount of love that she had for all of her children that give space for all of the energy and affection that she had for all of her children please I’m begging this community for $30,000 for a headstone that will just show my sister the dignity that she deserves. What I’m trying to do is give her a full headstone.

She was a mother of nine. A sister to 12 siblings. A daughter. A human being. I am her brother. I am the oldest boy of 12 siblings. I was the closest person to my sister. I am pleading with everyone for help.

I want to give her a headstone that reflects her dignity, her love, and her legacy.

This memorial will:
• Feature her full name, photo, and dates
• Honor all nine of her children
• Be custom-designed in high-quality granite or marble
• Provide a sacred place for her children and family to visit with pride

Yes, this headstone will be over the top—because her love was over the top.
She didn’t deserve to die at 39 years old.
She didn’t deserve to leave this earth on her birthday.
She deserves more than a number.

Open, Honest, and Available

I want to be completely clear:
Every dollar will go toward the two purposes above—nothing more, nothing less.

If you’re considering a larger donation ($5,000, $10,000, $20,000 or more) and would like to speak with me directly, I welcome that.

Please feel free to contact me personally

I’m here. I’m honest. I’m accessible.
I want you to know where your support is going—and how much it means to me and my family.

❤️ A Final Message to Tacoma

This is the city that raised us. These are the streets we grew up on.
I’m asking you now—my hometown—to help me one more time.

If you knew Angelina,
If you knew our family,
If you believe in justice,
If you believe that no one should die and be buried as just a number…

Please donate. Please share. Please stand with me.

Angelina didn’t deserve to die that day.
Her children don’t deserve to grow up without her.
And I can’t carry this burden alone anymore.

Thank you for hearing my voice—while I fight for the one who can no longer speak.

With love, grief, and hope,
Willard Palmer
