Dear friends and colleagues, Willa France has been hospitalized for over a week at NYU Langone as she continues to battle complications from the flu and pneumonia. This has been a difficult and frightening time for Willa and her family, as they navigate the uncertainty and stress that comes with a serious illness. While Willa’s loved ones remain focused on her care and recovery, the financial impact of a prolonged hospitalization has added a significant burden. Many medical bills, as well as related expenses such as transportation, meals, and time away from work, are not fully covered by insurance, creating additional stress during this challenging period.
