Will Rankin was the kind of person who made you believe — in the work, in the mission, and in yourself. He was a devoted father and husband, always putting his children and family first. His daughter describes him as kind, understanding, honest, and endlessly loyal — a great listener who made everyone around him feel heard. His wife says he had a passion for helping others and for building things that could change lives — especially for his children with disabilities. That passion wasn't abstract. Will's son is autistic. His daughter has ADHD. He didn't just talk about making the world more accessible — he lived it, every single day. Those who knew Will will tell you the same thing: he had a kind heart, he was always caring, and he was endlessly knowledgeable. He was a true advocate — all he ever wanted was for everyone to be well and to win. He showed up so much that things will never be the same without him. Will passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2026, and it still doesn't feel real. A corner of our community has gone with him. But his family is here — his wife, his son, his daughter — and they need support right now. His passing has left his wife and two children facing immediate financial challenges, including the loss of health insurance and the need for ongoing treatments and therapies for their children, both of whom have disabilities. Every dollar raised goes directly to Will's wife and children to help with health insurance, treatments for both children—including autism therapy and occupational therapy for Gianni, their 9-year-old son—and any unexpected bills. Gianni is also starting a new therapy program, Rainbow Therapeutic Therapy (Equine Therapy), which will be supported by donations. Will spent his life protecting others — his family, his colleagues, and a mission bigger than himself. Now it's our turn to show up for the people he loved most.
