Hi everyone, we’re reaching out to ask for your help for William Kent, a 26-year-old new dad who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Will and his fiancé, Maddie, moved to their new home Joplin in August and welcomed their beautiful baby in November, bringing joy to their lives. But just as they were settling into this new chapter, Will received the devastating news of his diagnosis of suspected Ewings or DSRCT sarcoma. Will began experiencing debilitating back pain over the last several months, making work and everyday life all but impossible, even though Will continued to work through the pain for his budding family. An MRI on Friday, March 21, showed several tumors on his spine and a cantaloupe-sized tumor in his pelvis. Will is in the process of being transferred to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. As the sole breadwinner for his young family, Will has been working hard to provide for Maddie and their little one.
Now, with medical treatments ahead and the uncertainty of this illness, they’re facing overwhelming challenges—both emotionally and financially. The costs of medical care, coupled with everyday expenses, are piling up fast, and they need our support to get through this tough time. We’re starting this GoFundMe to help ease the burden so Will can focus on fighting cancer and being there for his family. Your donations will go toward medical bills, living expenses, and ensuring Maddie and their baby have the stability they need while Will undergoes treatment. Any amount you can give will make a huge difference. If you’re unable to donate, please share this page with your friends and family—every little bit of awareness helps. Will is a fighter, and with your love and support, we know he can face this battle with strength. Let’s rally around him, Maddie, and their baby to show them they’re not alone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and kindness.
