Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our beloved coworker and friend, Will Keith. Many of you knew him as a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Room nurse in the Grady ER, where he poured his heart into caring for others. Will had a gift for bringing comfort in moments of crisis, and his kindness touched countless lives—patients, families, and colleagues alike. He will be remembered for his light-heartedness, his laugh, and ability to make anyone smile.
Tragically, after suffering a sudden medical emergency while at work on Sunday, September 14, 2025, Will passed away in the ICU on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, surrounded by Jess, Talia, his mother Johanna, and sister Molly. While his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will never be forgotten.
Beyond his work as a nurse, Will was a family man. Anyone who knew Will knew about his family. A loving husband to his wife Jessica and a devoted stepfather to his stepdaughter Talia. There was never a day when Will didn’t talk about Jessica and Talia.
Their loss is unimaginable, and in this moment of grief, they are facing not only heartache but also the many unexpected financial challenges that come with such a tragedy.
We are creating this fundraiser to support Jessica and Talia as they navigate the difficult road ahead—helping with medical expenses, memorial costs, and the daily needs of keeping their household going. Our hope is that, through the generosity of the community that Will served so faithfully, we can ease some of the burdens on his family during this heartbreaking time.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to support Jessica and Talia. No gift is too small, and every act of kindness will make a difference. If you cannot give financially, we ask that you keep Will’s family in your thoughts and prayers, and share this campaign with others who may want to help.
Will gave so much of himself to care for others. Now, let us come together to honor his memory and surround Jessica and Talia with love and support.
With love and gratitude,
