As a community of skiers, families, and friends, we have witnessed Will Ingrim dedicate himself wholeheartedly to this sport and to our children. Growing up in the Alyeska Ski Club, his coaching of the Alpine X ski cross team has inspired countless young athletes to embody bravery, kindness, and resilience both on and off the slopes. Beyond being a coach, Will is a cherished friend to many and a beloved son and brother. His kindness and dependable presence have made a significant impact on everyone he meets. Will’s unwavering dedication and warmth have left a lasting impression on our local skiing community.
On April 25, 2026, Will experienced a traumatic accident during the Alyeska Resort Slush Cup event, resulting in serious injuries to his thoracic spine and neck. He is currently receiving exceptional care in Anchorage, where the medical team is diligently working to repair the damage. Will’s family is immensely grateful for the expertise and support surrounding him. While some details remain private as he continues to recover, the outpouring of love and concern from our community has been profoundly felt by the Ingrim family.
Will is facing a lengthy recovery journey that will require both short-term, acute care from specialists who are experienced in treating significant spinal injuries, as well as the long-term costs associated with life-altering accidents. This path will involve ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation, and various related expenses that can accumulate quickly. As a caring community that values Will and the athletes he has mentored, we are uniting to support him and his family during this challenging time. Any contribution you can make is appreciated. Let’s take this opportunity to remind Will that he is surrounded by a community that loves and cherishes him. Thank you for standing by Will and the Ingrim family.
Will's sister, April Ingrim, is the family member who is directing all funds donated in his name to his recovery expenses.
