Support Will Foster's Battle with ALS
Donation protected
I hate when bad things happen to wonderful people!
Susanne Smaxwell, my best friend from high school and my maid of honor, is going through an extremely difficult situation right now. Her life partner and also my good friend from high school, Will Foster, was diagnosed with ALS in January.
Sadly, there is no cure for ALS. Currently, Will has lost function of his left arm, is losing strength in his right and having a very hard time walking. He needs your prayers- they all do.
Will and Susanne have a darling little boy named Donovan who is 7 years old. He doesn't understand why his daddy can't do the things he used to do.
To make matters even worse, Susanne lost her job in March due it being outsourced oversees. She is on the hunt for a remote job so she can also help care for Will at home. If anyone has a lead, please let her know!
The financial burden of managing ALS is significant. From medical expenses to specialized equipment and home modifications, the costs can quickly become overwhelming. That's why I'm turning to you, our Pike friends, family & community, for help.
My hope & prayer is that Susanne and Will feel our love and support as we rally around them. Any donation, whether it be big or small, will make such an impact on their hearts and help to ease their worries.
If you would rather use Venmo instead of gofundme, here is the link:
What ALS cannot do...
ALS is so limited
It cannot cripple LOVE
It cannot shatter HOPE
It cannot corrode FAITH
It cannot destroy PEACE
It cannot kill FRIENDSHIP
It cannot suppress MEMORIES
It cannot silence COURAGE
It cannot invade the SOUL
It cannot steal ETERNAL LIFE
It cannot conquer the SPIRIT
Thank you in advance for your generosity + kindness + support! Please, please, please share this post <3
