Wilder Jane was born on 12/30/2024 via emergency C-section due to an unexpected and unforeseeable cord prolapse. She suffered severe brain damage and now requires a wide range of therapies and treatments. Her injury is called HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy), often accompanied by other diagnoses—many of which will continue to emerge over time.

Our goal with this GoFundMe is to raise funds for intensive therapies such as Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), MNRI intensives, and additional feeding therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. The money will also help us pursue hyperbaric oxygen treatments, which may support brain healing by delivering oxygen to areas damaged by the hypoxic event.

We hope to continue supporting her healing through stem cell treatments that may help replace damaged neurons. One of our biggest goals is to take Wilder to Mexico for Cytotron treatment, which could potentially reduce inflammation in her brain, restore interrupted neural signals, and regenerate damaged neurons.

Although Wilder may look like a completely typical baby in pictures, she is currently 99% G-tube fed due to dysphagia, delayed swallowing, and oral aversions. She also has low muscle tone, making it difficult for her to hold up her head and engage her core like a “normal” baby. These treatments could improve her outcome and give her the best possible quality of life.

We don’t know what her future holds—no one truly can—but we’re determined to give her every chance to live a happy, functional life.
