My name is Melissa and my kind, hardworking friend of 15 years needs financial help because of some adversities she has faced in the past few months. Whitney is a single mom of 3 great kiddos, has previously worked as a certified midwife and doula, is in nursing school, and currently works as a nanny (as well as being an outstanding mom!!)

This September, Whitney was diagnosed with bladder cancer at the age of 43. She underwent surgery and although the cancer is low risk the recurrence rate is 70%. On Thanksgiving Day, Whitney's family was in a car accident where someone pulled out in front of them and totaled their car. The insurance company is offering less than she owes on the loan and Whitney needs to buy another car.

With being off work for cancer surgery and now with the car accident, my dear friend sincerely needs help to be able to pay off her car loan, buy another car with a small down payment, as well as provide a peaceful holiday season for her family who have already gone through so much.
