FOR: End-of-Life Expenses
Title: Whitney Reese Family

Many of you are aware of the loss of my younger brother, Whitney Reese. He left this world Wednesday, June 26, leaving behind his wife, Nomingerel (Nomin), and his two daughters, Rose (21) and Tulip (9). Whitney suffered from a stroke and other medical conditions. His funeral service occurred today in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He was buried in a scenic cemetery with a beautiful, traditional Mongolian service.
I am absolutely devastated by Whitney’s passing and was unprepared for the difficulties in dealing with a situation like this while he was located in a foreign country. It was especially complicated due to language barriers, time differences, cultural differences, and just the emotional toll of not being able to be at his side. We are doing all we can to support his family, but it is still not enough. His family is struggling to find funds to cover the cost of his end-of-life expenses, therefore, I’ve continued this fundraiser for donations for Whitney’s funeral service and end-of-life costs.
Help assist Nomin and her children as they deal with the loss of their father and husband. So many have shown support in helping the family already, and while we were able to cover much of Whitney’s medical expenses and provide his family with some funds for living expenses, more funds are needed to assist them with unexpected funeral costs.
As you may know, I believe my brother was a phenomenal human being. Born in New Orleans, Whitney was a graduate of Holy Rosary, Brother Martin High School, and the University of New Orleans. He was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, a teacher, an entrepreneur in procurement, and started an online business as an antiquities dealer. He was also a writer and spoke a few languages. However, his biggest legacy is his two children, Rose and Tulip, as evidenced from his many social media posts about them. To say he will be greatly missed is an understatement.
Please consider supporting his family one last time through GoFundMe if you are able to do so. His family is so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time for them.
This fundraiser will remain open until the end of July.
