On October 8th, my sister Whitney lost the love of her life and my nieces, Jordyn and Gracie, lost their Dad. What was once a home filled with laughter, love and plans for the future is now overcome with grief and uncertainty. The pain of this loss is unbearable and unimaginable.

My sister is now facing the heartbreaking reality of planning final arrangements while trying to stay strong for her kids. She is doing her best to try to hold everything together but the costs-from funeral expenses and everyday necessities-are overwhelming. Whitney and Jordyn own their own business and with that, comes no paid time off and no benefits.
