Support Whitman Middle School's Track and Field Team

The Whitman Middle School Track and Field team is building a long jump practice pit... and we need your help! Many other schools in our area have a long jump pit available for practice due to their proximity to their high school. Unfortunately, Whitman does not have any track and field facilities. Our athletes are able to make do with sprinting in the parking lot and throwing shot put in the adjacent public park, but we have been practicing long jump with mats in the gym. This doesn't create a comparable experience for our students and doesn't fully prepare them for their meets.

We have the plans, approvals, and the location on campus selected, but now we just need your help! We will need 115 bags of sand, as well as a smaller backhoe rental to build the pit. Our kids have the skill, drive, and discipline to do amazing things. Sometimes you need a space to show that off and we need your help to get it! Our kids would be so thankful for your support, no matter how big or small.
