Aloha! We are reaching out with hopeful hearts to share the story of two remarkable kittens who have already overcome so much adversity. Rescued from a heartbreaking animal cruelty situation earlier this summer in Kona, these precious little ones found their first safe Haven with a loving foster family in Puna. The brother (Marco) born blind in one eye, and the sister (Polo) was born without eyes. Marco was Polo’s loving guide to help navigate their surroundings safely. Thanks to incredible volunteers and animal advocates, they now have made their journey to Whiskers in Need on the mainland, where they are receiving the care and comfort they so desperately deserve.

Despite the resilience and gentle spirits, both kittens are facing critical health challenges: they required life changing eye surgeries to ensure a pain-free, happy future - avoiding infections, and painful discomfort.

We invite you to join us in this mission of hope and healing. Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward covering the cost of their eye surgeries, postoperative care, and ongoing support. Together, we can give these kittens the second chance they so truly deserve.

How you can help:

Every act of kindness brings us closer to our goal. With your compassion, we can turn their story from one of survival to one of joy and possibility! Mahalo for being part of their journey and for believing in the power of second chances!

With deepest gratitude,
