This is not something I ever thought I would do. I recently lost my job after reporting the presence of ICE agents at my workplace and posting a TikTok video about the situation that was seen by my employer. I spoke up because I believed it was the right thing to do, even knowing it could put my job at risk. My intentions were never to harm anyone, only to warn families of their presence.

Since then, I’ve been navigating the stress of unemployment with a terrible job market, while actively searching for a new job. I wasn’t going to create this GoFundMe, but the encouragement and support from others reminded me that it’s okay to accept help when needed.
