Weston’s fight with Congenital myasthenic syndromes

Hello, my name is Crystal, and I'm launching this Go Fund Me campaign to support my incredibly resilient son Weston, who's 11 months old and living with Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome.

Despite the diagnosis, I remain hopeful that with the right care and support, Weston can thrive and live a life filled with purpose. While hearing that there's no cure has been difficult, it's also strengthened my determination to ensure Weston receives the best possible care and lives a life rich in joy, love, and laughter.

We've been working closely with the team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where Weston underwent extensive testing and was fitted with a G tube to support his nutritional needs. Further testing revealed that Weston has a Laryngeal Cleft requiring surgical repair, as well as two tumors near his esophagus that need removal. A sleep study also showed that Weston experiences central apnea and obstructed airway, requiring BiPAP/ventilator and oxygen therapy.

Despite these challenges, Weston's smile continues to inspire hope and joy in everyone he meets. As a single mom to Weston and his sister, I'm committed to doing everything possible to support Weston's care and well-being. To ensure Weston can travel safely and comfortably to his appointments and hospital visits, I urgently need a larger vehicle. This Go Fund Me campaign aims to raise funds for transportation, gas, and other expenses related to Weston's care.
