On November 25th, my close friend Weston Toews faced an unimaginable and unexpected tragedy. His wife (37 years old) collapsed suddenly from a severe cardiac issue and is now in the hospital in critical condition. At this time, her recovery and long-term outcome remain unknown, and Weston is doing everything he can to stay by her side.

Weston is also caring for their three children, who are trying to understand and cope with what is happening to their mother. Balancing their needs, hospital visits, and daily responsibilities has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on the family.

Weston is taking time off work to support his wife and children, and with that comes lost income as well as many unexpected expenses — travel, meals, and other day-to-day needs that continue to add up during this crisis.

I am starting this fundraiser to help ease that burden so Weston can focus on what matters most: supporting his wife and taking care of his children during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount you feel led to give will make a real and meaningful difference.
