We are starting this GoFundMe for the Pope family to help support them during an incredibly difficult time. Westley Pope, the son of Josh Pope with Marion County Fire Rescue, has been diagnosed with cancer in his kidney. Westley and his family have a long road ahead filled with surgery, treatment, and recovery.

As they face this challenge, we want to come together as a fire service family and community to help ease the financial and emotional burden that lies ahead. Between travel, medical expenses, and time away from work, the support of friends, coworkers, and the community will make a real difference in helping them focus on what truly matters — being there for Westley and helping him heal.
