Hello, I’m Lauren. I am an alumna from Western Carolina University. I spent 5 years living in Western North Carolina. It is a community that I hold dear to me. I have friends and family who live in Whittier NC, Hendersonville NC, Asheville NC, Sylva NC, and Cullowhee NC. The region is currently experiencing a devastating disaster from Hurricane Helene. The entire area has no power, no cell service, entire homes and cars have been swept away. My goal is to raise money to gather supplies such as cases of water and nonperishable food items. One case of water (35 ct.) is $5. Anything will help them.

We have a flatbed crane able to carry 8 pallets at the ready. My husband works for a wholesale restaurant distributor and has access to supplies.

We will be gathering supplies from Restaurant Depot and transporting the supplies with the help of Morgan Tow company. We are delivering to Catawba Brewing in Asheville to hand out supplies. We are trying to find additional drop off locations inside and outside of Asheville. We are gathering dog and cat food for Sister Kitten which is a nonprofit animal rescue that is being sponsored this month by Catawba brewing. We will list additional drop off areas and agencies as we progress with further information.
