Help Our 6th Grade Robotics Team Reach the World Championships!

We are thrilled to share the incredible journey of the West Hardin Middle School VEX IQ 6th Grade Robotics Team, Classified, who have achieved something truly remarkable. In their very first year of competition, these young innovators from Hardin County, Kentucky, defied all odds and won the Kentucky State VEX IQ Robotics Championship, earning a coveted spot at the VEX World Championships in Dallas, Texas this May!

The story of this team is nothing short of inspiring. Classified began their robotics journey as complete beginners. But through teamwork, determination, and a passion for learning, they not only conquered their very first competition, but followed it up with a win in their second event. And as the ultimate testament to their hard work, they went on to claim the Kentucky State Championship, battling their way from 14th to 7th place before entering the finals and coming out victorious.

Now, these incredible 6th graders have the chance to represent West Hardin Middle School, Hardin County and Kentucky as a whole on the world stage—but they need your help to get there.

The team must raise $10,000 by the end of April to cover the costs of registration, airfare, lodging, meals, and special attire to represent their home state of Kentucky at the World Championships in Dallas. This opportunity will not only be a life-changing experience for these young students, but it will also showcase the incredible talent and potential of Kentucky’s future engineers, scientists, and leaders.
