Support Wesley the Warrior’s Medical Journey to Walk
Donation protected
Wesley is a 1 year old little boy born with Fibular Hemimelia which is a rare condition that causes leg length deformities & discrepancies. His left leg will be 6”shorter than his right - he's missing toes and a fibula bone, has a short tibia and a poorly positioned ankle/foot. He has already successfully undergone one surgery for toe alignment. In April, Wesley will be traveling to Florida to receive care from a physician internationally recognized for his expertise in limb lengthening. This four month stay is the first of three limb lengthening surgeries and rehab.
Our family has created this GoFundMe to help with ongoing medical, travel and housing costs. Kristy will be taking time off work to focus on Wesley's care and recovery in Florida. Mike will be splitting his time between Ohio and Florida while he cares for the other 2 children and travels to be able to spend time together as a family. Wesley has already faced and overcome many challenges in his short life and we are confident this strong boy, with the help of his family, will be able to walk normally and live a healthy, active life!
Thank you for supporting Wesley and his family with your thoughts and prayers, and we very much appreciate your consideration to financially support them as well.
