My name is Shayla Joe and I’m creating this fundraiser with a broken heart. On June 12, my dad, Wesley Joe, was tragically murdered in Bylas, Arizona. He was taken from us in a senseless act of violence that has left our family shattered.

My dad wasn’t just my father—he was my best friend. He was a true cowboy through and through. A talented team roper, a gifted horseman, and a man who spent his life doing what he loved—rodeoing across Arizona and living the cowboy way. Everyone who knew him knew his strength, his quiet pride, and the love he had for his horses, the land, and his family.

Now, we’re left picking up the pieces of a life stolen too soon. We are humbly asking for help to cover:

• Funeral and burial expenses

• Travel and lodging for family members coming to honor him

• Time off work to grieve and handle arrangements

• Any legal and justice-related costs that may arise
