Support Wesley Bowen's Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Wesley Bowen. I'm on the side here in Newark, Ohio. I recently was involved in an explosion that completely took my left hand over a homemade pipe bomb that someone had made. I cannot speak new names because it is under investigation, but people out there that have had this happen to them or in some type of way would understand what I'm going through.

I'm not looking for handouts, but any donations will be appreciated towards hospital bills and getting what I need for everyday lifestyle. It's definitely life-changing, not only physically but mentally. But I have strong faith in God and a strong family and friends that have a special part in my heart.

$1, $2, it doesn't matter. Any kind of dollar amount will be so appreciated. I don't like asking for favors, but on the 28th, I picked up a component that looked somewhat like a pipe fitting with some wires, and it exploded. It took off my left hand completely, and I was airlifted to Grant Medical Center, where I was there for 4 days and had a complete amputation of my left hand.

Not only do I have to go through this day by day, but for the rest of my life. I'm trying to stay in good faith and stay on top of it, but like I said before, anybody that's going through this kind of event, it's not easy. It's not even easy trying to talk about it. But anybody that donates, I will make sure that it is highly appreciated, and I will make sure that it is well known throughout the GoFundMe family.
