Wendy is a remarkably kind, loving, and resilient single mother of two who has always put her children and others before herself. She is known for her compassion, generosity, and quiet strength, and for creating a warm, nurturing home not only for her own family, but also for the Berry family, where she has lovingly nannied for the past three years. Wendy has spent her life caring for others—often without hesitation and without asking for anything in return.
Recently, Wendy’s life was turned upside down when she suffered a severe stroke—an unexpected medical emergency that has abruptly and profoundly changed her day-to-day reality. Since then, Wendy has undergone a thrombectomy and now faces an undetermined length of in-patient treatment, followed by extensive rehabilitation in the months and year ahead. During this time, she is unable to work and requires intensive medical care and ongoing support as she focuses entirely on healing and recovery.
Wendy’s children, Lindsay and Jacob, are active, energetic kids who find joy and stability in their sports and extracurricular activities—especially important during such an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Maintaining a sense of normalcy for them is deeply important to Wendy and to everyone who loves her, even as she faces these critical medical challenges. All funds raised will go directly toward mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs and everyday living expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a meaningful difference. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support mean more than words can express—not only to Wendy, but to her children and to everyone who loves her. This outpouring of care is helping carry her through the hardest chapter of her life, and it is a reminder that she is not alone. Your support means everything, and we are endlessly grateful.
