Our dear friend, Wendy Love Edge, has had some serious medical issues and needs our help right away!

Some of what she's dealing with:

Long Covid/Myalgic Encephalitis which exacerbated the psoriatic arthritis and myasthenia gravis she used to have under control with plant medicine This also skyrocketed inflammation all throughout her body leading to pain, and both vision and hearing problems. Then she had a non-stem elevated MI with afib, pulmonary edema, and diastolic heart failure (big heart stuff). Now she's at home on oxygen and walking with arm crutches or a walker. This is a big step back for her health.

They need help with money for food, adding a ramp that is handicapped accessible and managing bills while she heals. There will also be a large spike in paying for needed medications that will have to come out of pocket after the first of the year. Wendy is an activist for medical cannabis, natural health, emotional healing, and patients rights, and has stood up for so many important issues with her platform of education and love. Please consider helping someone who has helped so many and share widely with others!

"Dear Friends

I am writing to you all about the fact that due to my devastating illness at this point Angela and I really need some community support to continue to survive. Historically what happened is that first Angela contracted long Covid/ME and was sick a long time. She began to improve slowly and was able to start working again from home.

"I had necessary neck surgery a year ago, and then eye surgeries; and then contracted Covid. A few months later I learned I had long Covid and all of the conditions I have that were in check with plant medicine all flared. I was slowly improving, but then this cardiac emergency happened last week, and now I am far worse. I have very little energy and ability to take care of myself. I am on oxygen at home and struggling with all tasks.

"Angela is now taking care of me and the house and the dogs, and trying to continue to do her work from home job, but it is very challenging. I doubt I will ever be able to work again, and disability isn’t enough to live on in this economy. It’s hard for her to get her work hours in and we are worried her health will backslide."

"We also have some house needs to keep it safe here such as a ramp as now I walk with arm crutches or a walker. We are in need of some tree trimming which is expensive and something we planned to do, as every storm we hold our breathe about the house- but then I started getting sicker, and we still haven’t done it."
