Hello family and friends,
I’m Wendy Erdmann’s sister and I’m writing on her behalf, knowing how many people love her and want to support her during a very challenging season of her life.
As many of you know, Wendy was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer on December 10, 2024. Early on, her oncology team explained that treatment options were limited to palliative care. Despite this prognosis, Wendy continues to face this journey with remarkable determination, deep faith, and hope.
On February 1, 2026, Wendy was hospitalized with a fever and abdominal pain. A CT scan revealed a new tumor pressing against her bladder. This information confirmed her decision to pursue immune-supportive treatments at a specialized clinic in Mexico - a step she has studied for months and believes God is calling her to implement. The goal is to create a curative, not palliative path forward.
The clinic offers stem and natural killer cell therapies, immune modulation treatments, targeted nutritional IV, and other supportive protocols designed to help the body respond more effectively to fight cancer.
The integrative therapies, IV treatments, and daily supplements Wendy depends on—along with her upcoming treatment in Mexico—are not covered by insurance and come at a significant cost. The Mexico trip alone is over $65,000. Her medical expenses exceeded $100,000 in 2025 with similar costs expected in 2026.
Wendy is doing everything she can to support her body and give it the strongest possible chance to respond well. What she needs now is the freedom to focus on healing, without the added weight of financial strain. Currently, the goal is to raise $65,000 to help ease the financial burden she and her family are carrying.
