Help Wendy Stay Afloat During a Health & Financial Crisis

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We're reaching out on behalf of our beloved family member, Wendy, who is going through an incredibly difficult time. After nearly a year of unemployment, Wendy is now facing eviction and urgently needs our help.

In March of 2024, Wendy was diagnosed with heart failure and severe edema. This unexpected and serious health crisis has made an already challenging situation much harder. Despite her illness, Wendy has been actively and persistently seeking employment, but has not yet found a job. Her unemployment benefits have run out, and she was forced to cash in her small retirement savings to survive—savings that are now exhausted.

She has applied for temporary assistance, but the process is slow, and time is running out. Her most immediate need is to cover essential expenses—rent, utilities, and basic living costs—so she can stay housed while continuing her job search and receiving medical care.

We are hoping to raise $4,000 to help Wendy get through the next few critical weeks. Every dollar will go directly toward keeping her in her apartment and helping her stay stable while she works toward getting back on her feet.

Wendy is a kind, resilient person who has always been there for others. Now she needs a village to help her weather this storm. Any amount you can give will make a real difference.
