Support Wendy's Fight Against Multiple Myeloma

Our dear, beloved friend and mom of 3 kids, Wendy Berner Paladino, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last December. It is a relatively rare disease, but is the second most common cancer of the blood cells.

Wendy had some hip pain but was told that the worst case scenario was that she might need a hip replacement. One day close to Christmas last year, Wendy found herself in such tremendous pain that she called an ambulance to go to the hospital.

After many tests, she received the diagnosis that the cancer had eaten away at her hip, which was the reason she was in so much pain and couldn’t walk. Wendy started radiation and chemotherapy immediately. She is now home but has limited mobility so daily tasks that we take for granted, such as taking a shower or making a meal for our families, are physically much harder for her. She continues the aggressive cancer treatment recommended by her great team of doctors.

We are starting this page to help our brave friend with medical expenses. Wendy is unable to work at this time and any donation would be extremely appreciated. We suggest a donation of $10, $25, or $50 but please know that a donation of any amount is a tremendous blessing that will be used directly to help Wendy during this difficult time.
