Hello! My name is Harlee, and I am starting this for my mother. On January 15th, 2025, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. From that day, she was immediately admitted to the hospital, where she stayed for a month. Since she has come home, she has had weekly appointments, monthly hospital stays, and the works that come with an aggressive illness like what she has. Since this has come about, she has been out of work on medical leave, with no clear timeline in sight for when, or even if, she can return to work. Hospital stays, appointments, and medical bills aren’t taking the same leave as her, which has had quite an impact on finances. She is a wonderful, hardworking woman. She has put in over 3 decades at our local Pizza Hut, striving to care for all of the people who come to her store. Trying to receive the care she needs to hopefully get back to her normal life, she needs more help than what our family is able to give. We hope that even if it’s just a little bit, that this can help take some of the burden away from all the hardships she’s been going through. Thank you.
