Hi, my name is Tristen, and I am fundraising on behalf of my mom, Wendy. Many of you know her as funny, hardworking, and always there for you kind of person who would drop everything to help someone else. She has always been the one holding our family together - now we're hoping to hold her up during the toughest fight of her life.

Wendy has been battling colon cancer since last October, despite completing chemotherapy and radiation, the cancer has not been fully removed. She is now preparing for a major life-changing surgery that will last around 8 hours and involve 4 surgeons working together. During this surgery, doctors will be :

Removing remaining cancer tumors

Repairing a severe hernia

performing a full hysterectomy

Also have to make another colostomy bag since the other one was corrupted by the hernia.

This is an emotional and overwhelming time for our family. We are praying for healing , strength, and a successful surgery that gives my mom the chance to live with less pain and get her life back.

While insurance helps, it does not cover everything. The costs that come after surgery are significant. Between medical supplies, after-care, home care, unpaid time during recovery, and regular bills piling up. The financial weight is becoming extremely heavy.
