A member of our North Bend Community Church, Wendy Spear, has been battling for her life as she recovers from necrotizing pancreatitis. We have seen God working through the journey of healing but it has been a slow process with setbacks and a large financial burden (see ways to donate through Venmo, cash, or check below). We place our faith in the doctors and praise God for Wendy's endurance through all the pain. Please consider donating to the Spear Family as they have both been out of work since December 24th, 2024. When donating on GoFundMe, please notice the option for displaying your name or remaining anonymous by clicking a box. A default "tip" amount of 17.5% is automatically suggested. You can change that amount to zero or anything you determine appropriate but this tip money DOES NOT go to the Spear family.

For those of you who would like to avoid the GoFundMe processing fees there are two additional options:

1) CHECK OR CASH

Checks made out to North Bend Community Church or cash can be dropped in the offering box on the right as you enter the church. Please note SPEAR FAMILY with a sticky note or envelope. Checks can also be made out directly to Gregg Spear and dropped in the offering box for elders to deliver. Any checks can be mailed, either directly or via your bank's online payment service, to North Bend Community Church, 126 East 3rd Street, North Bend WA 98045.

2) VENMO

Send money to Shannon's Venmo account using "friends and family" to avoid any fees. She will deliver all money donated to the Spear Family bank account.
