Hi everyone,

My mom and I are really struggling financially and I've started a new GoFundMe to help us stay afloat and pay our rent and bills until things become more stable for us (please note that most donations we've received were to help us in late 2025 and January of this year).

My contract job ended in mid-October of last year, and I have been dealing with significant health problems for months - I have a digestive condition, chronic inflammation, and I likely have fibromyalgia, along with depression and insomnia/sleep problems - and I'm hoping my health will improve so I can really focus on a job search and accept full-time work again (as of the new year I'm looking for part-time remote work).

In the meantime, I'm working part-time at a retail job (3-8 hours a week on average), and otherwise I just have a small caretaker income of $880 per month through IHSS, since I take care of my mom who is elderly and disabled. She receives a small social security check every month of $1300.

Our bills are about $5500 per month on average, which includes rent & utilities $3000, storage $360, PG&E $100-$150, Verizon $220, Xfinity Internet $85, renter's insurance, healthcare, transportation, & other bills $800, groceries & household necessities $700.

Right now (as of late February) we are about $2.5k short for the rest of February and beginning of March. We need $500 to get through the rest of the month, at least $2k in the first half of March, and $1000 in the 2nd half.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and every little bit counts.
