Support Wendy Boswell's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Storey Anderson, and together with Sandy Huseth and Lindsay Rilea, we are sharing an update on Wendy Boswell:

Wendy was admitted to the hospital on January 10th after several days of stomach pain and vomiting. Surgery was done 3 days later to remove a bowel blockage. Due to the severity of the blockage, 10 inches of her small intestine was removed, and it was discovered she had diverticulitis that had never been treated.

The surgeon explained that a leakage was possible but unlikely.

A few days later, after several tests, a leak was found and another surgery was necessary. A wound vac was placed to avoid infection.

After 4 weeks at Enloe Medical Center, she was transferred to a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation and wound care.

Since Wendy is unable to pet sit at this time, $6,000 would help with her finances and relieve the stress of trying to keep up with monthly bills during this time of recovery.

Wendy is a beloved member of our community who has supported so many of us and our fur babies! It is our hope that we can get her what she needs at this time. Thanks to everyone who is able to contribute or spread the word.
