Help Us Build a Self-Balancing Robot that uses a Ball to stay upright
We’re a group of six passionate robotics students from Wendell Krinn Technical High School, and we’re working on a senior project we’re really excited about. We’re building a robot that can automatically stay upright while balancing on a ball. The robot will be about 4 feet tall and will stand at minimum 4.5 feet when it’s on top of the ball. It’s a big challenge, but we’re up for it. This project will test everything we’ve learned about engineering, robotics, and physics and it’ll be a great way to show what we’re capable of.
We’re reaching out because we need your help to make this happen. As a student team, we don’t have big pockets, and we have to raise our own funds for the materials and equipment we need to build the robot. The money will go toward things like mechanical parts, sensors to help the robot stay balanced, motors to move it, electronic components like wiring and circuit boards, the ball, and stabilization equipment to keep it upright.
This project is more than just building a robot. It’s about learning, teamwork, and pushing ourselves to do something we never thought we could. We also want to inspire others to get involved in STEM. If we can do this as high school seniors, we believe anyone can!
We’d be so grateful for any help you can give. Even if you’re not able to donate, sharing our campaign with friends, family, or on social media would mean a lot to us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our project. We’re excited to see where this journey takes us, and we really appreciate any support you can offer.
