Holly, her family, and their restaurant, Slurpz, are true examples of what it means to be invested in the community of Wellington. Now, it's our turn to show our support to them as they face new and scary territory fighting Holly's cancer.

The Thompsons depend on income earned from their small, family-owned business here in town, which they have had to close down here and there due to Holly's health. We know firsthand: even one day closed as a small, family-owned business can be financially detrimental. For this reason, we—along with friend Lisa Stephens—have decided to put together this GoFundMe to help the Thompson family cover their bills.

While this amount will only go so far, we want to at least help take the immediate pressure off of the family if we can, so they can focus on what matters the most: wife, mom, and friend Holly
