Support Wayne in His Fight Against Multiple Myeloma!
In early October, my family’s world changed. My dad, Wayne, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a serious blood cancer that has already forced major changes to his life. He will be out of work indefinitely while he goes through treatment, including a stem cell transplant.
The financial impact is quickly becoming overwhelming. As a result of my dad's condition, my mom (Lisa) will carry most of the financial burden, while my father focuses on getting better. Between medical bills, treatment costs, travel, and regular living expenses, it’s more than they can manage on their own.
My dad has worked incredibly hard for our family. For 20 years he put in 80-hour weeks without ever complaining. He did that so I could attend private school, finish college, and have a strong start in life. He has always put everyone else first. Now he’s the one who needs support, and it’s our turn to be there for him.
I’m asking for help to ease the financial strain so my dad can focus on fighting this illness and healing. Anything you’re able to contribute will go directly toward his medical care and the bills that are piling up during this long road ahead.
We are also holding an in-person fundraiser on March 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM at The Olde Theater Diner, located at 33 Sandy Bottom Rd, Coventry, RI 02816. Tickets are $20, and the event will include live music by The Manatees, food, and more. All proceeds will go toward my dad’s treatment and living expenses. If you can attend, we would be so grateful.
Thank you to everyone who reads, shares, or donates. Your support means everything to us as we help my dad through this fight.
