Support Wayne Johnson's Medical Recovery

My name is Amy Reeves, and I am the daughter of Wayne Johnson.
On June 17, my dad was admitted to St. John's ICU after experiencing a heart rate of 220 and low blood pressure in the ER. We later discovered that several factors were weakening his immune system, including an infection that led to sepsis. He was intubated and sedated for several days, but I’m relieved to share that he is now breathing on his own and regaining cognitive clarity and physical strength. As of today, he is on day 22 of his hospital stay and may need a few more days before he can be discharged.
Currently, he requires dialysis three days a week and might need additional surgery to replace one of his artificial knees, which has been affected by the infection. Once he fully recovers from these procedures, he can finally address his torn rotator cuff injury from March.
Despite these challenges, our faith remains strong. We have witnessed miracle after miracle as God has worked wonders in his body and blessed him with an incredible care team. We are deeply grateful for the support and prayers from everyone who has encouraged him and our family during this difficult time.
As with any medical emergency, bills are beginning to accumulate. With my dad nearing retirement, we aim to ease the anxiety regarding what insurance will cover versus out-of-pocket expenses. We will also be adding some extra medical supports at my parents' house, and the travel costs for dialysis three times a week can add up quickly.
Many have reached out to ask how they can help. Each call, text, prayer, and gift card has blessed us, as our family has not left him alone during this time. We continue to ask for your prayers for the days ahead. Those who know my mom and dad understand that they are usually the ones giving to others, and we want to show them the same support they've shared with so many over the years.
If you feel led to contribute financially, your gift would be immensely appreciated by both my mom and dad, as well as our entire family.

With love and gratitude,
The Johnson Family

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-25
