Support Wayne Hills for Nationals

At Wayne Hills High School, eight outstanding students qualified top four in the State Leadership Conference in their respective events, qualifying to the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA from June 28 through July 2. These students worked ardently to place in their competitions and become the best in the state, dedicating nights and weekends in preparation. Santiago Gonzalez was elected as the statewide community service Vice-President for the organization after a challenging campaign process as well.
Due to unforeseen budget cuts and extenuating circumstances, many of these students faced economic difficulties. This is because no adviser was able to accompany them on the trip meaning each of their parents needs to attend the conference as chaperones. This significantly increased costs for members causing five students to give up their hard-earned opportunity to represent Wayne Hills on the national stage.
As of now, only three students are committed to attending the conference. Due to the financial circumstances, two of these students created a GoFundMe and would appreciate any contributions to achieve their milestones. Santiago is representing the school as a state officer and the other two students are also competing for Wayne Hills at the national level.
These students have worked extremely hard and your support can make a permanent mark on our state, county, and town. Every dollar brings them closer to the national stage and future milestones.
Please consider donating through the link below. Let us highlight the efforts of these students—and that their Wayne community is behind them.
