My name is Wayne Hays, and I am living with terminal ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

This disease is progressively getting worse and is taking away my ability to move, speak, and care for myself. Each day is becoming more and more challenging, and my family and I are doing our best to adapt. But the truth is, the costs of care are overwhelming, and we cannot do this alone.

I am raising funds to help cover:

• A motorized wheelchair so I can maintain some independence and mobility for as long as possible.

• Home modifications (like ramps and bathroom adjustments) to make our space safe and accessible.

• In-home caregiving support to help my family as my needs increase.

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance, including specialized equipment and treatments that bring comfort.

• Quality time with my loved ones, making memories together while I still can.
