My name is Denise Fader I’m posting this on behalf of my husband of almost 29 years.  Wayne has and  always been  the heart and soul of our family, he’s always been the go to guy, coached my boys and their friends in baseball, basketball and flag football.  Was the ride home at 3 AM when the kids and their friends needed that lift home and the shoulder to cry on whenever anyone needed advice or a friend just to be there.  But for a little over the past two years, that heart has been under constant attack. What started as a weight loss journey and a diagnosis of Gastroparesis (Paralysis of the stomach) has spiraled into a relentless battle for survival. The Toll on Wayne: In just over 24 months has been unimaginable, Wayne has endured: • 7 Major Surgeries (including gastric bypass, colon resection, and pacemaker implantation). Also had  stents placed on both sides of his jugular veins• to try to control his fainting, 16 Emergency Room visits and 11 Hospitalizations. • Chronic pain, fainting spells, and heart complications. Why We Need You Now: Wayne’s illness has made it impossible for him to work consistently. While he fights to heal, our family is fighting to keep a roof over our heads. We are currently facing: • Mounting medical debt from surgeries and stents. • Overdue "back rent" and utility bills. • Daily living expenses that have become impossible to manage. Our First Goal: $20,000 Our immediate priority is to secure our housing and cover past due basic bills! The next phase would be to work on the  next couple of months so Wayne can focus 100% of his energy and his recovery, not on the fear of eviction.
