Support Wayne Eddington's Battle with Brain Cancer

Donation protected
My dad, Wayne Eddington, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer, and our world changed overnight. He’s now going through chemo and radiation, and the road ahead is daunting for all of us.

My dad is a father to four (Wayne, Grace, Neil, and me) and a proud grandfather. He’s always been independent and never someone who asks for anything. But this diagnosis has brought challenges no one can shoulder alone.

One of the hardest parts for him has been stepping away from coaching tennis. That was his passion and his source of joy, routine, and connection. Losing that part of his life has been incredibly painful.

Through all of this, my dad’s girlfriend Julie, has been his anchor holding everything together. Julie works full-time, and on top of that, she’s caring for my dad around the clock. She drives him to daily treatments, manages his medications, helps with meals and mobility, and carries the emotional weight of all of this with so much love and patience. She does it without complaint, but it’s simply more than one person can sustain alone.

I recently spent a week with them, and seeing everything up close made it clear just how much support they truly need between the medical demands, the constant appointments, and the financial strain that comes with a brain cancer diagnosis.

We’re raising funds to help with things like:

  • medical and treatment-related expenses, including daily radiation and chemo
  • additional home care so my dad and Julie can have real support and some relief
  • making their home safer and more accessible as my dad’s needs change
  • help with basic living costs during this incredibly difficult time

My dad is an incredible man with a huge heart, and Julie has been his rock. Any amount big or small will make a real difference for both of them as they navigate this chapter.

Thank you for supporting our family during one of the hardest period of our lives.
