Support Waylon's Road to Recovery

On Easter Sunday

Myself and my Husband along with our 2 Sons

We're headed to Easter service at our church when we were in a traffic collision that turned out to be the biggest life changer we have ever experienced.

Me and my Husband along with our youngest son, have bumps and bruises and a lot of generalized soreness, my younger son has a cracked sternum but is recovering.

Our oldest son Waylon required emergency surgery due to a Shattered L5 Vertebra and damage to his spinal cord. At this moment he is unable to move his legs and is going to require extensive therapy at a top notch facility where they specialize in spinal injuries.

Given the extent of the damage he will need in patient therapy for up to 12 weeks or longer.

We are a previous Military family and my husband is a retired veteran. We struggle to make it each month and that's with both of our incomes. I am having to take off of work in order to be able to be with my son during this whole process, which means loss of money that is needed to pay our bills and afford gas, food, etc. his therapy will be done at a place 2 hours from home. With expenses popping up left and right.

We are a family of Faith and we know that our Father God has the upper hand in this situation, we have been praying around the clock for Waylon to regain the function of his legs, we know God Is the ultimate miracle worker. And we are praying for a miracle.

Waylon is a 17yr old young man full of energy and ambition, he has lots of plans and hopes for his future and loves playing instruments and making his own music, he loves Deftones Christian music and is looking forward to being able to have a job and be more independent.

Our goal at the end of this very long road of recovery is to have him back on his feet and pursuing all of his hopes and ambitions.
