First and foremost, let me tell you about our Waylon! His laugh and smile were infectious. He loved swimming, Mickey Mouse Club House, and any toy that had buttons with sounds. Waylon was so handsome with his blonde hair and blue eyes. And boy, he sure was a fighter!
He was born on December 5th, 2014 at 27 weeks. Weighing in at only 1lb 9oz, he came in to this world as a micro-preemie. Being born so early, he had several health concerns. He had a small hole in his heart that was repaired at 4 months old with open heart surgery. Finally at 5 months, he was able to come home! He flourished and grew throughout the years as a happy baby and then toddler. At the age of 3, Waylon was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Even continuing with therapies, Waylon had not yet found his voice and was fully non-verbal. His parents made sure he experienced life to it's fullest and provided a loving home life.
On Sunday February 23rd, the unthinkable happened. My nephew, Waylon Sellers, unexpectedly left this world due to complications from Flu A at only 10 years old!! His parents are BEYOND devastated! Their hearts are completely crushed with the grief of losing their only son. Most of us can only imagine what that pain feels like.
Unfortunately, Waylon did not have any life insurance. Along side of the excruciating pain of losing their son, the Sellers need help with covering their son's memorial service. Any donation you can make, anything at all, will help. Any and all monies donated will go directly to the costs of his service. If you aren't able to donate, please SHARE! Thank you in advance for all of your help.
