Andrew and Ashley Lancaster have been on a rollercoaster of emotions. On August 8, 2025, their son, Waylon, was born prematurely at just 29 weeks. Born at just 2lbs 4 oz, he is a fighter, yet faces a long road ahead with an extended stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), likely for at least two months.
This unexpected journey has brought immense stress and financial hardship to their family. Once Ashley is discharged from the hospital, they'll be faced with the daily cost of traveling to and from the hospital to be with Waylon. Additionally, they're preparing for the mountain of medical bills, household expenses, and the unexpected cost of caring for a premature baby.
We're starting this GoFundMe to help ease some of this burden for Ashley and Andrew so they can focus on what's most important: being with their son. All funds raised will go directly to their family to cover:
- Medical and household bills: To help with the cost of healthcare and daily living expenses.
- Travel expenses: To ensure they can be by Waylon's side every day.
- Essential baby items: To purchase any specialized items Waylon will need once he's home.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this with your friends and family. Your support, thoughts and prayers mean the world to Ashley, Andrew, and little Waylon.
